The Stars Foundation is a global humanitarian organization delivering life-saving resources and sustainable solutions to vulnerable communities worldwide. For more than 15 years, we have built strategic partnerships with governments, medical institutions, humanitarian organizations, and global leaders.

Through our Humanitarian Aid programs, The Stars Foundation has facilitated more than $115 million in goods-in-kind, including over $89 million in critical medical supplies for hospitals and clinics serving children and families in need. Our Global Container Shipping Program delivers essential medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, healthcare resources, and other necessities directly to approved facilities, with individual medical shipments valued at up to $500,000.

Our Baby Rescue Initiative, developed in collaboration with the Queendom of Sheba, expands access to durable, low-cost infant incubators designed for challenging environments in developing nations.

Together with the Queendom of Sheba and Project VII Phoenix, we are combining immediate humanitarian relief with long-term healthcare capacity building—bringing hope, healing, dignity, and life-saving resources to communities across Africa and beyond.

World Orphans Day, founded by Cheryl Robeson Piggott, is a global movement dedicated to giving a voice to orphaned and vulnerable children and inspiring action on their behalf. Through humanitarian advocacy, goodwill, and peace-building initiatives, we use the power of television, global media, strategic partnerships, and international leadership to bring greater awareness to children in need.

Our initiatives have united First Ladies, royalty, government leaders, celebrities, faith communities, corporations, and humanitarian organizations around a shared mission of hope and compassion. Through platforms including the World Orphans Day Summit, First Ladies Summit, various television series, Flame of Peace Tour, and our global Lighting the World Purple campaign, we create opportunities for people and countries to take meaningful action.

From Compassion to Action … Delivering Life-Saving Aid Worldwide

The Stars Foundation is committed to protecting infants and vulnerable children through life-saving medical programs, child protection advocacy, and strategic global partnerships.

Our Baby Rescue Initiative provides low-cost, durable infant incubators to hospitals and clinics in underserved regions, particularly across Africa and the Caribbean. Designed for challenging environments, these units can help medical teams provide critical care where resources are limited. Individual mini incubators can also be funded and deployed without waiting for full container shipments, allowing donors to make an immediate, tangible impact.

Our child protection mission extends across North America. In Canada, we are collaborating with Abuse Hurts to support awareness and efforts toward Safe Haven legislation. In the United States, we support Childhelp’s vision for a $1 billion Global Campus serving abused and at-risk children.

Together, these initiatives protect children at their most vulnerable—bringing life, safety, healing, dignity, and hope.

Uniting Voices for the World’s Children

The Stars Foundation has a distinguished history of bringing together First Ladies, royalty, diplomats, and international leaders through World Orphans Day to advocate for orphaned and vulnerable children.

Our 2019 World Orphans Day Summit in Nashville welcomed Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku of Eswatini, Ambassador Njabuliso Busisiwe Sikhulile Gwebu, and Dr. Hetherwick Ntaba, Presidential Advisor to Malawi President Peter Mutharika, culminating in a special Proclamation Ceremony hosted by Kix Brooks at Arrington Vineyards.

In 2024, First Lady Monica Chakwera of Malawi joined Ambassador Esme Chombo and other dignitaries for our Nashville Summit.

Building upon this legacy, The Stars Foundation is preparing the 2027 First Ladies Summit for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in association with other NGO’s, uniting global leaders around foster care, anti-trafficking, child protection, and humanitarian action.

The Flame of Peace Tour is a global initiative of The Stars Foundation, uniting nations, leaders, and communities through peace, humanitarian service, and a shared commitment to protecting future generations.

Traveling internationally, particularly throughout Africa, the Flame creates opportunities for engagement with Heads of State, First Ladies, royalty, and government leaders, encouraging cooperation around humanitarian challenges. The Flame of Peace Award recognizes distinguished leaders and humanitarians whose service has advanced peace, reconciliation, and the well-being of children and families.

Through international television and media, the Tour also brings visibility to humanitarian programs, orphanages, medical outreach, and underserved communities—sharing powerful stories of “Love in Action.”

The Flame further advances World Orphans Day, inspiring countries and communities to participate in a worldwide movement of compassion and service.

Voices for the Voiceless is a global awareness and media initiative of The Stars Foundation and World Orphans Day, created to harness the influence of entertainment, sports, television, digital media and social platforms to bring greater visibility to orphans, vulnerable children and foster children around the world.
